Competition favourites Borussia Dortmund were drawn against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the quarter finals of the Europa League on Friday lunchtime.

The eccentric German manager left Borussia Dortmund in the summer after seven incredible years at the club but is set for a reunion is a matter of weeks.

Both clubs advanced relatively comfortably despite tough draws in the last 16, as Liverpool swept aside rivals Manchester United whilst Dortmund hammered Tottenham Hotspur.

The narrative surrounding the Europa League quarter finals will certainly revolved around Jurgen Klopp, who last night said he did not want to draw his former team.
