It is that time of the year again, when Deloitte release their Football Money League and we can all digest just how much the world’s top football clubs are worth.

Once again, Real Madrid are the richest football club on the planet, just ahead of Spanish rivals Barcelona.

Real Madrid’s total revenue in 2014/2015 was 577 million euros. Whilst Barcelona earned 560.8 million euros.

Manchester United, the third club to reach revenues of over 500 million euros brought in 519.5 million euros.

There are five English clubs in the top 10 and nine in the top 20.

This trend of English clubs dominating is only set to continue with the new Premier League TV deal set to kick in next season.

Premier League sides again look like the big risers with the likes of Newcastle, Everton and West Ham all pushing up into the top 20 and likely beyond over the next few years.

For Manchester United, despite their poor form on the pitch, Deloitte believe they will top this list next year.
